Re: 2021 Fall Development Series

Dear Players:
TOP SHELF HOCKEY MIDWEST, LLC has been conducting skill development camps and clinics for six years. Our commitment to YOU has been and will continue to be focused on PLAYER DEVELOPMENT. The goal of the pre-season Fall Development Series (FDS) is to create additional on-ice opportunities for more players within the Midwest Amateur Hockey Association (MWAHA) at the 18U level.

The concept of the FDS is to allow you to play with higher level players from other teams and hear and learn from proven Coaches looking to help you take your game to the next level! Similar to what is offered with the Upper Midwest High School Elite League in Minnesota, the FDS will strive to further develop your skill and the depth of talent within the affiliate. Tryouts will take place August 28 & 29 in Des Moines at the MidAmerican Rec Plex. You will be evaluated, rated, scored and at the conclusion of tryouts, the Coaches will draft players onto four teams. Doing this, in theory, will allow four evenly matched teams to play the 12-game series. Stats for players, including goalies will be kept, and at the conclusion of the series, the top 2 team will play for the inaugural Championship!
