Subject: Financial help for Youth Hockey Players in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and the
greater Kansas City area.

Everyone - Association Board members distribute to your Association.

It’s time for Hockey Associations in the Midwest Amateur Hockey Association (MWAHA) to submit applications for players interested in financial assistance to play hockey. This is the 6th year that the MWAHA has teamed up with the Tyler Frederes Memorial Fund (TFMF) to raise money for youth hockey players in our USA Hockey Affiliate. New this year … all Associations can submit 2 applications, associations that participated in the TFMF Golf Event (Kansas City, Dubuque and Quad Cities) can submit up to 5 applications.

To have an application considered by the TFMF Board:

-Player and Guardian complete the Player Application Form - See below

-The Coach or Association Rep needs to provide a letter of reference

-Turn form and reference letter into the local Association President

-Association President email completed applications to Les Teplicky at
teplickylesd@mchsi.com

-Subject line should read: MWAHA / TFMF Award Application.

-Deadline Date for both Recreational and Travel Players is October 1, 2019 ACT NOW.

Through this tournament we have given out some nice financial awards, as much as
$1,500 to a family that could really use the help.
