Course Information

This is the Bronze Level High-Performance Seminar for Goaltending Development.  Coaches with an existing/expired Level 1 [from 2017 or prior] will receive Level 2 for 2018-19; those with an existing/expired Level 2 [from 2017 or prior] will receive their Level 3.  A coach with an expired Level 3 may also recertify at Level 3. This is a level-up process so coaches may attend one CEP clinic in a season.  The initial CEP Level 1 is not available for this program.

This clinic is the first step in the goaltending development program and will cover topics such as practice planning, teaching fundamental saves, foundation skating, puck handling, positioning, recover, and more.  This program is for anyone interested in learning more about goaltending and how to teach the position.  The Clinic is open to parents, coaches and other assistants.

The program will run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with check-in starting at 8:00 am.  Coaches must remain in attendance for the entire clinic to receive CEP certification.  There are two on-ice sessions during the clinic.  Coaches are expected to participate in each on-ice segment.  Lunch break is provided however coaches are on their own for meals.
