MWAHA Girls 10U

We attended the Battle of the Bay AAA girls tournament this past weekend. We beat the MN Rapid Fire 5-2 our first game. We beat the Greenbay Hornets 9-5 our second game. Our third game we lost to the Duluth Northern Storm 8-1. We advanced to the championship game on Sunday and played the Duluth Northern storm again and won 4-3 scoring the game winning goal with 36 Seconds left. I was so proud of our girls from the affiliate. They worked their tails off and never quit even after going down 2-0 in the Championship game. We were the only team to score on the Duluth Northern Storm the entire tournament and to show up and play with a win attitude after getting hammered by them on Saturday 8-1 was simply amazing!! It was an awesome experience and many lasting friendships were made between the girls and families. A huge success for the growth of girls hockey within our affiliate!! Thank you to all the families who participated and to the MWAHA for their support in making this happen!!
