Frederes Golf Fundraiser

  • Kansas City, Missouri
  • The 2016 Tyler Frederes Memorial Golf Tournament has been set for Monday, September 12 at the Deuce at the National. The tournament raises funds for deserving hockey players in the Midwest Amateur Hockey Association (MWAHA). The funds pay for fees, dues, or expenses the player is unable to pay, which would hinder or restrict him/her from playing hockey.

At the 2015 tournament, we presented MWAHA with $10,000, enabling 13 players to pursue their dreams in hockey. You can sign up for the tournament today or donate directly to this great cause, a memorial to our son Tyler and the sport he loved, and in the process, your support will give other kids a chance to play!

The MWAHA is the official governing body for USA Hockey, covering the states of Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. The MWAHA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. The MWAHA main purpose is to assist in the growth and development of hockey according to the following key values: sportsmanship, respect for the individual, integrity, pursuit of excellence, enjoyment, loyalty, and teamwork.
