X COACHES
One of the purposes of TSMAHA is to improve
the development of hockey skills and techniques. To this end, the coaches for each team shall
be required to have attended a TSMAHA sponsored associate level coach’s clinic, and taken the appropriate test. Upon written request to the Board of
Directors and a showing of the possession of skills equivalent to the associate
level clinic acquired elsewhere, the Board may waive the requirement of
attendance at an associate level clinic.
It is recognized that personal problems,
business or the like may result in a team not having approved coaches for a
particular game. The presence of an
unapproved coach shall not be grounds for a protest or refusal to play and should
merely be reported to the Board of Directors.
A team, which is regularly reported as not having approved coaches, is
subject to disciplinary action.
